Dwarapalakas (Divine Gate Keepers) Of Lord Brahma

Dwarapalakas (Divine Gate Keepers) Of Lord Brahma

Introduction

Dwarapalakas are the security guards or the divine gatekeepers those who would be physically present on their respective divine worlds. Similar to other deities, Lord Brahma also has Dwarapalakas, who are also called as Divine Gate Keepers in his Satya Loka also called as Brahma Loka. After creating Satya Loka for him, Lord Brahma has also created two celestials, whose names are Gunapalaka and Dharmapalaka, and made them as his divine gate keepers in his Brahma Loka. Since Lord Brahma has got only few temples in the world, most of them are not aware about his divine gate keepers!

These gate keepers would allow the guests to the Satya Loka only after getting permission from their master Lord Brahma. They contain powers equivalent to Lord Daksha Prajapati, Manu, Sanat Kumaras, Sangu Karna and Narada, who are all considered to be the mind born sons of Lord Brahma. They are also considered as the first and foremost creations of Lord Brahma, and worshipping them is equivalent to worshipping the creator Lord Brahma himself! We should never underestimate the powers of the Dwarapalakas of various deities, since all these divine gate keepers are the powerful aspects of their respective masters!

As per the holy text, “SRI BRAHMA, THE UNIVERSAL FATHER”, even when Lord Brahma forgets to discharge his creation duties, still, these divine gate keepers would perform their given tasks with great efficiency! It is also to be mentioned that, apart from serving as divine gate keepers in the Brahma Loka, they still serve as the Divine vehicle swan and as the Holy Lotus flower seat for their creator father and mother, Lord Brahma and Ma Saraswati!
